The minimalistic drum of one-man band setup André Duracell consists only of a bass drum, snare drum, floor tom, and ride cymbal, all of which are triggered to his synthesizer. Often Duracell performs covers of old retro video games such as Space Harrier, Turrican, and Ninja Spirit, but has also been known to cover the likes of Aphex Twin's Girl/Boy Song and Lightning Bolt's "Fleeing the Valley of Whirling Knives," "Assassins," and "Saint Jacques." The proximity to the audience gives his live sets a special dimension.
