Dance solo with choral accompaniment
Every movement made by Nicolas Cantillo in this dance solo is never repeated. This performance, structured around a series of iconic images borrowed from dance sport and politics, blurs the identification of these references and muddies definitions. It is a work that has constantly evolved since it was first performed to the music of Sir Richard Bishop. Compagnie 7273 continues to build on its collaborative works with an array of musicians from different backgrounds. Every single time, a brand-new creation is produced. For the Belluard Festival, this dance solo will be accompanied by a 40-strong choir who will perform a composition written by Fribourg musician Thierry Dagon.
