Migros Culture Percentage and the Belluard Festival have invited eight emerging artists to come to Fribourg and, as the title says, ‘watch & talk’. Together, they will explore the complete festival programme, free from production constraints, free from the pressure to deliver, and free from competition. While this may appear indulgent, it is in fact a genuine necessity for these young artists: to take some time out, to reflect on and question their own practices, to embrace the new, to open up to others, to discuss artistic projects, to network, to disagree, to agree.
