The Festival Belluard Bollwerk International, which will run from June 26th until July 5th, has launched its first poster campaign. The poster, in striking pink and with the inevitable red spot, sets immediately the spirit of the upcoming festival.
This year’s festival focuses strongly on the role of the audience and means to make them participants within the art experience rather than spectators. The main objective of the «I am, you art, he art, we art, you art, they art» teaser poster, designed by René Walkers, is to call upon the idea of «how to turn art into a verb so that it can be conjugated by everyone». Only when artists and audience labour together can art become a revealing experience.
