In this intimate performance ten stories of Aleppo are being told. The city resurrects in what was lived, imagined, forgotten or desired. It is the stories that preserve the bond to places that have been lost.
The project is based on ten interviews made by Mohammad Al Attar with people from Aleppo about a place in the city dear to them. Ten actors from Fribourg lend their voices to these narratives. Each story is told face to face to a single spectator at a time. Everything in this performance is grounded in the act of telling, in the necessity of speaking and listening.
