Maria Magdalena Kozlowska’s performance is a combination concert, stand-up and TED talk. The Polish singer and performer is searching for a common European language and folklore.
In her show, the artist toys with the idea of a European community. She sings her own songs in different musical styles. The lyrics are in Esperanto and other international auxiliary languages, aoe event invented by the artist herself. Her character embodies European values, then shatters them before reassembling them with a dose of irony. In this bizarre Eurovision, Maria Magdalena Kozlowska playfully explores the European utopia. Because even in these times dampened by Brexit, the Greek crisis and nationalists gaining power, a United Europe is a great idea!
