Robin Lescouët roams blindfolded about the stage. Joël Maillard assembles fragile objects into precarious constellations. An absurd performance about a delicate balance.
The audience watches Robin Lescouët, who can’t see anything. The environment in which he evolves becomes increasingly complex. A second performer is placing vases, salad bowls, platters, pitchers, trinkets, pots, soup tureens, wine glasses and other fragile objects upon the stage. This one-off happening echoes the invisible consequences of our actions. The artists’ only preparation is inventing the rules of the game. Like Godzilla in Tokyo, they navigate a contemplative and riveting experimental arrangement.
Do you have any fragile objects that you no longer need? Bring them to the Arsen’alt Sud on the 27th or 28th of June after 6 pm.
