After nine days of festival with theatre, performances, dance, concerts and installations, the 36th edition of the Belluard Bollwerk International Festival ended yesterday, Saturday 6 July, with Solutions found in the Quartier d'Alt, Europe as a diva singing in multiple languages and archive films from Fribourg projected to live music.
This 2019 edition of the Belluard Festival sparked debate and discussion, but also generosity and sharing and welcomed a very diverse audience of different ages and backgrounds. Identities, questions of language and belonging, but also utopias, magic and beauty were the themes and strong impressions of this festival.
We warmly thank all the artists, visitors, collaborators, volunteers and partners for their commitment and contribution to the smooth running of this magnificent edition.

The 37th edition of Belluard Bollwerk International will take place from June 25 to July 4, 2020.
