Festival Belluard Bollwerk International

Let archival films transport you back to 1960s Fribourg. It is the first time that these amateur films are being shown on a big screen. Cellist Sara Oswald and electro music tinkerer Feldermelder accompany them live.

Among other treasures, the Cantonal Library’s regional film archive contains amateur films or home movies. They cover different aspects of life in the Canton of Fribourg. A selection of these films is shown here for the first time on the occasion of this special edition of Cinéplus. The silent footage will be accompanied by original music. It is played live by two Fribourg artists who join their musical universes for the evening.
