The Belluard Festival team

And here a little presentation of this years’ jury

Kassette, a.k.a Laure Betris, is constantly reinventing herself. Born in Fribourg in 1981, she was already touring Europe with the girl group Skirt at the age of 16. Ten years later, she released the solo album “Chamber 4”, the first of four to date. Besides many collaborations as guitarist, pianist and singer with Gustav, Aurélie Emery and others, she made a bold shift in 2016 with the electro-world trio Horizon Liquide and also joined Geneva-based psychedelic rock band H E X. At once a fiercely independent musician and a brilliant team player, she never stops exploring new frontiers. In 2018 she received a swiss music award.
Laure has been working as a production manager for the Belluard Festival since 2012.

Sandrine Kuster (1966) has been director of the Théâtre Saint-Gervais Geneva since 2018. Previously, she was the director of Arsenic, a contemporary performing arts centre in Lausanne, from 2003 to 2017. She was theatre programmer for the Bâtie Festival de Genève from 1999 to 2003. In 1989, she founded with Eveline Murenbeeld the Théâtre de l'Usine in Geneva, which she co-directed until 1995. Trained as an actress at the Serge Martin School in Geneva, she participates in several shows in French-speaking Switzerland, mainly for the Compagnie des Basors, directed by Eveline Murenbeeld. She has been teaching (active dramaturgy) and a jury-member (Master and Bachelor) at the Manufacture, Haute Ecole des Arts de la Scène.
She is president of the associations RESO (Swiss Dance Network) and La Rencontre du Théâtre Suisse.

Albert Liebl has been leading SCHAUPLATZ INTERNATIONAL (SI) together with Anna-Lisa Ellend since 1999. SI has produced over 50 works in the fields of theatre, performance, video, film and lectures. In the last 20 years SI has worked and been a guest at many festivals and venues, state and city theatres, such as the Belluard Festival in 2004, 2005 and 2007.
Albert Liebl is also the author of plays, a radio play and song lyrics. He lives in Erlach, is father of two children, youth football coach, president of the local section of the SP party and works part-time at the Bern University of Applied Sciences in the Department of Health as a research assistant and communication trainer.

After an education as a primary teacher followed wandering years as a waiter, alp shepherd and technician. They led Sandro Lunin to the Theater am Neumarkt, where he worked as an assistant director for four years. 1989 - 97 he took over the co-direction of the Fabriktheater Rote Fabrik and founded the festival "Blickfelder - Theater für ein junges Publikum" in cooperation with the school & theatre department. From 1998 he worked for 10 years as co-director of the newly founded independent theatre Schlachthaus Theater Bern. There he conceived, among other things, special events on the Near and Middle East as well as a focus on contemporary culture from sub-Saharan Africa that quickly developed into a festival. From 2008 - 2017, as artistic director of the Festival Zürcher Theater Spektakel, he set new accents in the festival programme with a strong focus on urban contemporary theatre and dance productions from the metropolises of the world's south. In September 2018 he took over the artistic direction of the Kaserne Basel.

Since September 2014 Anja Dirks is the director of Belluard Festival. From 2009 to 2014 she was the artistic director of the festival Theaterformen in Braunschweig and Hannover. Before that she worked for Theaterhaus Gessnerallee in Zurich, Wiener Festwochen, FFT Düsseldorf and the Theater der Welt festival.
